I love this place! Small, family owned business, and everyone is super friendly! I agree with everyone that prices are sky high; however their tasty food and large portion sizes makes up for everything. Try their steak fries and thin crust sausage pizza.

The Little Red Hen is a great place to eat. Looking for a great place to eat in Glencoe? Look no further than the Little Red Hen! This cozy little restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious. The Little Red Hen is best known for its homemade pies, and they do not disappoint. The pie crust is flaky and buttery, and the fillings are always fresh and flavorful. The apple pie is my personal favorite, but the cherry and blueberry pies are also excellent. This place made my childhood! I love going here whenever I have the chance. The buttery grilled cheese is one of a kind, and the pizza slices are perfect. Jimmy and Lisa are the nicest people and make Little Red Hen a perfect neighborhood restaurant.

While I feel they would get less hate if they adverized their prices. The food is great, made fresh. The place is homey and the owners are very lovely filled with personality. Try the fried chicken and mushrooms you wont regret it.

I do not know how people don’t like this place!! I grew up on it!! The employees are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Sure things are a little expensive, but that’s because of the location! I bet rent is crazy high!! The food, people and— the food are so amazing!!

What a great little gem. I can't wait to take my family back here for what looks like a restaurant out of my childhood. The food prices and quality is on par and really cannot level any complaints against either. Be ready to potentially eat outside or take your food to go as the seating is tight and limited. If you have more than four in your family you may have difficulties as you'll need to pull tables together for that. Can't wait to go back.
